There are various walking routes on the island that are also great fun for children. Enjoy a nice walk together and learn more about nature or the history of the island in the meantime. There are several routes under 5 km. Such as several routes in the Kwade Hoek, the bunker route on the tip and the puzzle route at 't Fort in Ooltgensplaat.

Take a city tour

You might not expect it, but Goeree-Overflakkee has a real city. Goedereede received city rights in 1312, making it the only city on the island. After the city fire in 1482, Goedereede was slowly rebuilt and many of the old buildings have been preserved. So it's fun to take a walk through the town. You can go by yourself, but if you really want to know more about Goedereede 's history, a guided city walk is highly recommended.
