The 'Groote Gat' is a remnant of the historic creek system, a favourite spot for many animals, so don't forget your binoculars.The walking route is 3 km long, and combine it with a visit to bird-watching hut the Osprey of Vogelboulevard Hellegat-Ventjager. The route starts at the car park at Steigerdijk.
