The Brouwersdam is the place to be for sports, fun and sociability. Its unique location between Grevelingen and the North Sea makes this dam a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. You can kitesurf, windsurf, foil surf, sail and supp. Prefer to relax? Unwind on a beach walk, roll out your towel on the wide sandy beach or take a seat in one of the many beach pavilions in this area.

Surfers' Paradise

The Brouwersdam has become a world-famous surfing hotspot. On one side you have the calm waters of the Grevelingen and on the other, the turbulent waves of the North Sea. Since the 1980s, countless surfers have gathered here on a windy day to brave the waves.

The Brouwersdam is not only a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, families also have a great time here. The wide sandy beach is ideal for endless walks, building sandcastles or enjoying the sun. After a day at the beach, you will be treated to a beautiful sunset in the evening. Tip: on the North Sea side of the Brouwersdam, the sunset is at its most beautiful!
