If you want to challenge yourself, Goeree-Overflakkee is the place to be. If you prefer to get off the beaten track, you can really enjoy yourself on one of the MTB routes. For multi-disciplinary athletes, a triathlon is organised twice a year. The Brouwersdam 90 and the slightly smaller-scale Herkingen triathlon. But what we are really known for is, of course, water sports. Besides sailing, all disciplines of surfing are practised here. From wave surfing to wing foiling. A true Surfers' paradise!
