Traces of the tram on Goeree-Overflakkee West
At first glance, the tram has disappeared on Goeree-Overflakkee. But if you look closely, you will see the tracks of the Rotterdamse Tramweg Maatschappij in lots of places. And if you know where to ride, you can follow the route almost metre by metre. This cycle route follows the former route of the tram line between Middelharnis and Ouddorp, crossing tram bridges and passing places where there used to be stations, tram stops or railway embankments. At some places, you can see the rails in the road surface, there is an information board or the street name reminds you of earlier times. The route also takes you past the RTM Museum in Ouddorp.
