Ouddorp Duin
The Houten Kaap is the centrepiece of a cosy beach square in the dunes of Ouddorp. The square is part of Ouddorp Duin and is the place where everything comes together. You will find nice shops here, you can rent bikes and there is a surf shop where you can also learn to wave surf. For the little ones, there is a large indoor playground and a real play dune outside. Across the theatre de overkant you can go out for a nice meal or enjoy a drink on the Bij Marc terrace.
Strandtheater Houten Kaap
The Wooden Cape has a diverse programme of theatre for young and old. Comedians and stand-up comedians are also welcome guests. Throughout the year, there are music performances and many other activities in the theatre for residents and tourists. Both inside and outside on the square. At the start, you are personally welcomed in the bar. Every first Wednesday of the month, a film is shown in the 'FilmBieb', in cooperation with the Zuid-Hollandse Delta Library.
