Picturesque Herkingen is an ideal base for lovers of water sports and nature. The Herkingen harbour area offers everything you need for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and an enjoyable cruise. The Harbour Area consists of three different locations, all of which are highlighted below.
Herkingen Marina
Herkingen Marina is one of three locations in the harbour area. Since 1997, the Blue Flag has proudly flown on their mast. A recognition of their commitment to quality and sustainability. On the northern side of Lake Grevelingen, this marina is centrally located and easily accessible by both water and road. There is also plenty for kids to do, including a playground, optimists, a dinghy field and you can catch crabs everywhere. In short, an ideal base to explore (with the whole family) this beautiful area, where peace, space and nature come together.
Herkingen Marina Watersports Association
WSV Herkingen is a home port for water sports enthusiasts and passers-by. In 't Krabbennest, the clubhouse, you will find facilities such as showers and a laundry room. There is also a cosy recreation room where it is great to hang out. With a nice view from the balcony terrace, games, a library and a spacious kitchen, 't Krabbennest offers something for everyone. Children have a great time in the playground and on the bouncy castle. For an errand, just walk to the Dagwinkel Herkingen.
