Where is Concert at Sea?
Concert at Sea takes place on the Brouwersdam. This delta work connects the islands of Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duivenland. The festival is right on the edge of the South Holland and Zeeland sections. With a southwest wind, the festival can be heard as far away as Middelharnis.
Turn your festival visit into a beach holiday
You can buy a single ticket for all days, but many visitors choose to buy a weekend ticket. And why not? As the name suggests, Concert at Sea is organised right by the beach. If you book an overnight stay for the festival, you immediately have a beach holiday. During Concert at Sea, campsites and holiday parks temporarily increase their capacity to accommodate the festival visitors.
Give your ears a rest
Want to take a break from the partying? You can do that too! Goeree-Overflakkee offers enough space to get back to yourself if you want to. The endless beach is great for getting a breath of fresh air. You can also go into nature or just grab a terrace in one of the picturesque villages.
Transport
From Ouddorp, Concert at Sea is easy to reach by bike. Book an overnight stay at a B&B? Then chances are that you have access to a bicycle that you can use for free. There is also a wide range of bicycle rentals. Shuttle buses run to and from the festival site throughout the weekend. You can get on at various locations. Of course, you can also travel to the festival by car. The Brouwersdam is very long and thus offers plenty of parking spaces. Just keep in mind that you will probably have to walk a bit to the entrance.
Concert at Sea attracts visitors from all over the country, but is certainly also very popular with locals. The atmosphere is therefore typically 'island-like'. Down-to-earth, friendly and above all very cosy!
