Galathese haven
The Galathese haven used to be a potato and beet harbour in addition to a ferry port. The only reminder of this is an old weighing house on the premises. The harbour has been refurbished as of 2015. There are now jetties with electricity and a water tapping point for water sports. Near the harbour is a catering facility with great views over the water. Kids can climb and clamber in the adjacent natural playground Buutenplaets. In summer, you can also board a delta ferry from the Galathese haven.
