Strand de Kous

Talk about space! The kitesurfer, blokarter, buggykiter, sandcastle builder, peace seeker, sun worshipper or beach tent sitter; this wide sandy beach offers space and entertainment for everyone!

During the bathing season (1 May to 1 October), you can only bring your dog to this beach after 7 pm and before 10 am. Your dog will then be allowed to run free. Outside the bathing season (1 October to 30 April), you can always take your dog loose.

strand de Kous has a Blue Flag. The Blue Flag is an internationally recognised eco-label awarded to beaches and marinas that meet certain criteria. A Blue Flag beach meets strict requirements in terms of water quality, safety, environment and facilities and is an international recognition of these qualities.
