Wooded polder with many butterflies
In May, the area is teeming with colourful butterflies and buzzing bees that descend on the multitude of different flowers. Between Middelharnis and Stad aan 't Haringvliet lies nature reserve De Vliegers. Named after the creek De Vlieger along which it was created.
