Atelier in d'Egelantier
Tucked away in a charming side street near Middelharnis ' harbour basin is Atelier in d'Egelantier, the creative domain of artist Annette de Roo. The studio functions as both a workshop and a gallery, where visitors can enjoy her versatile artworks, including paintings, watercolours, and handmade ceramics. Annette also offers inspiring drawing and painting classes, where she shares her passion for art with enthusiastic students.

Vogeleiland Bliek
Off Middelharnis lies vogeleiland Bliek in the Haringvliet. A specially constructed island from 2018 that serves as a safe nesting place for birds and spawning ground for fish in the Haringvliet. Admire rare bird species such as spoonbills and shelducks while enjoying the view from the wooden bird-watching hut designed by Ro&Ad Architects.
Menheerse Werf
The Menheerse Werf, located in the historic heart of Middelharnis, combines an active shipyard with various cultural and recreational functions. In the visitor centre, discover the rich maritime history of Goeree-Overflakkee. For a unique experience, you can book a sailing trip or explore the Haringvliet yourself in a rented canoe.
Atlantia nature playground
Tucked away next to Middelharnis ' harbour jetty is Nature Playground Atlantia, a paradise for children to explore their creativity amid natural surroundings. Here they can climb, clamber and play in wooden play frames. The playground offers an adventure experience with tree trunks, ropes and tunnels.
