Filmhuis | Why Wettelen
When family and friends want to bury Christine, who has just passed away, her solicitor informs them that she wished to be buried in Wettelen. This comes as a great shock to her husband and children, who do not even know where the village is. During the traditional funeral procession – which Christine had also stipulated in her will – the group realises that nobody really knows who Christine was. Old intrigues soon come to light, and by the time they reach her final resting place, all family ties have been thoroughly shaken up.
