Minous meets Tibbe, a failed journalist. Because Minous can talk to cats, she is able to pass on lots of news to Tibbe. For example, about the local philanthropist, Mr Ellemeet, who is in fact a villain. The ‘cat press service’ generates front-page news via Tibbe. But when he writes the truth about Ellemeet, the whole village of Killendoorn is thrown into a panic and Tibbe is sacked. Miss Minoes then hatches a clever plan to prove that Tibbe is telling the truth.
