The book *Hamnet* is a historical novel published in 2020 by Maggie O’Farrell.
It is a fictional story about Hamnet, the son of William Shakespeare, who died in 1596 at the age of eleven, and focuses on his parents’ grief.
The film screening will be preceded by a brief introduction to the novel on which the film is based.
