Lecture on medieval village 'Berwoutsmoer

An exhibition on the excavations of the medieval settlement 'Berwoutsmoer' is currently on display at Raadhuis Ooltgensplaat . A team of archaeologists from 'De Motte' made a spectacular discovery in 1979. The remains of Berwoutsmoer, a village that disappeared in the waves, resurfaced after centuries.

In this lecture, Annet van Leersum will share a special and unique insight into how exactly this excavation took place and, based on the finds, reconstruct what daily life must have looked like in this settlement

Available after the lecture: 'Life in Berwoutsmoer- a back-in-the-times', written by Annet van Leersum-Jentink, for €12.95. Also, 'Farmers in Berwoutsmoer' by Rias Olivier is now available for 20 euros. Both books together are on sale for just 30 euros.
