Blue Finches in het Diekhuus

With their debut performance, Blauwe Vinkjes conquered the Dutch theatres last season. Kevin van den Berg and Manon Blaauw dived into the deep end of the cabaret pond as fresh, uninhibited autodidacts, gradually learned to swim and stayed afloat. And how! The cabaret duo performed a record number of shows and managed to attract an enthusiastic audience.
Director Ruut Weissman describes their style as 'a traditional theatre form in the spirit of our time'. In 2025-2026, Manon and Kevin will present their second theatre show, in which they once again adapt a revue-like theatre style with a contemporary vision and form.

In 'Poeha', Blue Finches seizes the opportunity to become even more personal. Without hesitation, they put their finger on the sore spot for everyone and mercilessly ridicule everyday hoo-ha. In their characteristic style, they enlarge, mirror and twist recognisable situations. From consent to content and from opera to amusement park; anything goes and nothing remains untouched. Expect an evening of blistering and hilarious sketches, colourful characters, catchy songs and all sharply interwoven with current affairs.
