*Nuestra Tierra* tells the true story of the murder of the 68-year-old indigenous leader Javier Chocobar in the Argentine province of Tucumán. What begins as a conflict over land ownership escalates into a poignant struggle for identity, rights and survival. Director Lucrecia Martel examines both the murder trial and the broader history of land grabbing and exploitation in Latin America. The result is an urgent and impressive documentary that has garnered widespread international acclaim.
