In search of (traces of) the Ree

Deer can be found all over the Netherlands. They live in places where it is quiet, where they have enough to eat and where they can be sheltered. The varied landscape of the Kwade Hoek is the habitat of quite a population of these beautiful animals. Deer prefer to search for food at dusk and dawn, as the area is quiet then. You often see them near the forest edges and if you are very careful and quiet, you are likely to see them stick around. And even if you don't see them, there are tracks that give away their presence. Come along and discover the world of the roe deer!
