The Preacher Men | Royal Flush

Whether they play a moody late-night ballad or a rousing groove piece, this super trio consisting of saxophonist Efraïm Trujillo, organist Rob Mostert and drummer Chris Strik, always sounds soulful.

The main role is played by the atmospheric sax and the unique Eb blues horn with open tone holes of band leader Trujillo, who also plays in The Ploctones and is musical director of the Amsterdam Funk Orchestra. Rob Mostert plays the pedals of his B3 organ with his bare feet, which makes the music literally come out of his toes. And last but not least: in the summer of 2024, Chris Strik was voted 'Jazz drummer of the year'.
